A duo of car thieves was arrested by mall security after a failed carjacking attempt. The apprehended suspects, Chavo Rodriguez and Ramon Fuentes, were breaking into a parked car at a Houston shopping center when their targeted vehicle rang an alarm.

Chris Jefferson, the car’s proprietor, said that he had installed various vehicle safety products that included motion detectors and a vibration alarm. The burglars didn’t anticipate a second alarm ringing after they had deactivated the customary car alarm.

He continued by saying that criminals are becoming craftier and more sly, learning ways to bypass the usual security system that cars have. To be able to fully protect your vehicle, he recommends tossing in a few more vehicle safety products.
